Known as both the Tomb of the Unknowns and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, this momument in Arlington National Cemetery has no official name. It houses the unknown remains of soldiers from World War I, II and the Korean War. It used to house the body of a Vietnam soldier, but his remains were positively identified and returned to his family. It is guarded 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by Tomb Guards who are US Army Soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Regiment.

Visiting any cemetery is a somber event, but watching the Tomb Guard was an especially moving experience.
