This is the manor house of the Old Pogue Distillery in Maysville, KY. This was where the family lived when the distillery was a big player in the whiskey industry around the time of prohibition.
Then they left the business. Now the grandkids have gotten back together and decided to get back in. They started by buying whiskey other people produced and called it Old Pogue. It’s tasty stuff. Kinda hard to get right now though since their sources seem to be drying up. They sold that whiskey to fund the construction of a small distillery on site wher they could make their own. They are now making some, I bouthg it and while not quite as tasty as the stuff they sourced, it was more interesting since it was an entirely different style. An old historic style that is no longer produced. Cool place though. I’d recommend a tour
